See Think Act was first published for medium
secure care in 2010. This year the Quality Network for
Forensic Mental Health Services, commissioned by the Department of
Health, has lead a 'refresh' of the guidance at their request with
the support of Elizabeth Allen, the original author of the
work. The review of the guidance concluded with a
consultation event held at the end of July at the Royal College of
Psychiatrists in London. Over 100 members of the Network
(including patients and carers) attended an exceptionally positive
and productive event.
On the following dates,

Our aim by providing this session on See Think
Act will be that attendees will be able to follow up the sessions
by refreshing staff awareness within their services. It follows,
therefore, that attendees should be those empowered to implement
change with their service.
Please note that places are limited to each
event and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
