QNPICU Annual Forum
The Quality Network for Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (QNPICU) will be hosting its fifth annual forum in 2024 – book now.

Price: £75 for anyone working in a QNPICU member service and £110 for non-members. Patients and carers are able to attend the event for free.

QNPICU webinars
We are looking to host webinars/discussion groups where individuals can come together to learn and discuss certain topics.
If you or your team are able to facilitate a webinar or have ideas about a topic, please email PICU@rcpsych.ac.uk.

Reviewer training enables staff from our member services to participate in accreditation visits to other psychiatric intensive care units. Participants will gain practical and theoretical knowledge of all aspects of participating in a peer-review visit. The day involves presentations, seminar discussions and role-play scenarios.
Staff from any discipline with an interest in being involved in external peer-reviews for the Quality Network can take part.
The training is free to member services.
Upcoming training sessions
We are now conducting online reviewer training sessions.
The training will give potential reviewers the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about how to conduct a peer-review visit virtually. The online training session will involve presentations and discussions to develop the skills of a reviewer. The training is free to member services.
We strongly encourage individuals organising and reviewing other services to attend this condensed two-hour training, which will cover the new process of virtual reviews.
