The Medical Psychotherapy
Faculty represents the broad range of psychotherapeutic
practice within psychiatry. Its membership consists of
psychiatrists who practice psychotherapy as their main therapy or
utilise its principles in their work.
Recent advances in knowledge of brain and body functioning are
increasingly relevant to the work of medical psychotherapists.
