Event Information
Overview
The Forensic Faculty is delighted to announce that our annual meeting for 2024 will take place in Milan, Italy. We will be breaking with tradition and holding the event in May.
Join us from 15-17 May for three exciting days of learning and networking with colleagues from UK, Italy and beyond. The conference will be taking place in-person only (and will not be recorded in any capacity) - it is the perfect opportunity to block out your diary, get away and dedicate time to your professional development and practice.
Call for sessions
The extended call for sessions has closed.
- Speakers may be asked to deliver their talk twice in the same session (whether morning or afternoon).
- We strongly encourage people with lived experience to be included in sessions.
- Up to four persons speaking or chairing in a breakout session will be given a complimentary conference place for the day of the session.
- If you are a speaker or chair please call Rhianne Haresign on +44 20 8618 4213 to process your booking over the phone.
- Submitted session speakers and chairs should claim expenses from their local organisation.
Call for posters and Research Prize
Poster presenters will need to register for at least one day at the relevant registration rate(s) to secure a poster place in the online poster exhibition. This event will be paper-light, posters will be online - however presenters are now also welcome to bring a printed poster.
- Poster presenters should claim expenses from their local organisation.
- Presenters will not be required to present an in-person talk on their poster.
Research Prize
- Junior doctors can opt to have their poster considered for a shortlisted oral talk and the Research Prize.

The registration fees include refreshments and lunch. Accommodation and/or travel costs are not included in the booking fees.

The event will take place at the Melia Milano Hotel, Via Masaccio 19 - 20149 Milan, Milan, Italy.
There is a wide range of accommodation in Milan.
Please note, there isn’t a discounted hotel booking rate at Melia Milano Hotel, for this conference-bookings are subject to availability.
Accommodation bookings should be made independently by attendees either at the best available rates via Melia Milano Hotel, preferred third party websites or at alternative hotels.
