Event Information
Overview
Join us for a groundbreaking joint educational event led by the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. The event aims to explore the connection between lifestyle and mental health through the innovative approach of lifestyle medicine.
By bringing together experts from both fields, we will delve into the latest research findings that highlight the impact of lifestyle factors on mental well-being. Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, we will uncover the intricate relationship between healthy eating, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of harmful substances, improving social connections, and their implications for mental health outcomes.
In addition to gaining a deeper understanding of the role of lifestyle in mental health, this event will also shed light on the implications for training in both psychiatry and lifestyle medicine. We will explore how incorporating lifestyle medicine principles into psychiatric practice can enhance patient care and improve long-term outcomes. This event will provide valuable insights and practical strategies for healthcare professionals seeking to integrate lifestyle medicine into their training and practice.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between psychiatry and lifestyle medicine.
