Professor Bernadka Dubicka
Former Chair, Child & Adolescent Faculty, Editor in Chief of the Journal for Child and Adolescent Mental Health
Professor Bernadka Dubicka qualified in medicine at University College London, completed her training in child psychiatry in Manchester and is a consultant in an adolescent inpatient unit in Lancashire.
In 2015 she was elected as vice-chair of the RCPsych Child and Adolescent faculty and became chair in June 2017.
Professor Dubicka has a research interest in mood disorders, with expertise in clinical trials and evidence based practice.
Professor Dubicka is a member of the National Institute of Health Research, Health Technology Assessment Mental Health Funding Panel and is a clinical advisor for the NHSE North West Strategic Clinical Network.
She is an editor of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Journal and speaks regularly at national and international meetings on mood disorders.
