Professor Mitul Mehta

Mitul Mehta completed his undergraduate studies and PhD at the University of Cambridge and received fellowships from the MRC and Wellcome Trust to develop his neuroimaging research for understanding drug action in the human brain. His current research is focussed on using neuroimaging to understand existing treatments and provide early evidence of the potential for novel treatments in schizophrenia, mood disorders, ADHD and neurodegenerative conditions. He is based at King's College London where he is Professor of Neuroimaging & Psychopharmacology, Director of the Centre for Innovative Therapeutics and deputy lead for the Neuroimaging Theme within our Maudsley-BRC Biomedical Research Centre.
