Dr Francesca Brady

PhD, Division of Psychology, University College London, Woodfield Trauma Service, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust

Dr Brady is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma, with a particular focus on supporting survivors of human rights abuses, including those who have experienced human trafficking. Dr Brady worked at a specialist human rights charity, the Helen Bamber Foundation, between 2014 and 2021 - most recently in the role Co-Head of Therapies. She currently works between Woodfield Trauma Service, a specialist NHS trauma service for asylum seekers and refugees, and the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at University College London. Dr Brady has specialist training in a range of evidence-based psychological therapies for PTSD, and has facilitated national and international trainings in Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) to healthcare professionals in collaboration with the NGO Vivo International.
