Director of Strategic Communications
Kim Catcheside is the College’s Director of Strategic Communications. She joined the College in 2016 following a successful career as a broadcast journalist for the BBC.
Kim began her journalistic career at the BBC in the 1980s – reporting on the Miners’ Strike for BBC Radio Sheffield.
She worked as a political correspondent for a weekly current affairs programme before moving to BBC News as an Education and Social Affairs Correspondent, where she became a familiar voice on the flagship Radio 4 Today Programme.
Before joining the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Kim had a spell as a Director in a small PR agency, working with high profile clients including Kings’ College London and Imperial College.
