National Student Psychiatry Conference

The annual National Student Psychiatry Conference (NSPC) is a great opportunity to meet senior psychiatrists and students from other medical schools, and for the chance to learn more about different areas within psychiatry.The application to host the NSPC 2025 is open!

The overall aim of the conference is to:  

  • Increase awareness of Psychiatry as a career.
  • Improve delegates’ knowledge of Psychiatry. 
  • Provide an opportunity for delegates to meet and network with peers and Psychiatrists of all levels. 

Hosting the NSPC offers a Psych Soc the opportunity to develop skills in leadership, project management and more. It will also raise the profile of their Psych Soc and provide great opportunities for networking with colleagues and speakers from across the country and possibly beyond.

Past events

University of Sheffield Psych Soc hosted the conference on 13-14 January 2024 at The Diamond, University of Sheffield.

Under the theme of Me, Myself and I, attendees had the chance to explore the intersection of the ‘self’ and the ‘other’

King's College London (KCL) PsychSoc hosted the conference on 4-5 February 2023 at the RCPsych Head Office.

This event marked the 10-year anniversary of the conference.
