This event is an opportunity for the retired (still working or not) and resting to hear about what their colleagues are doing, both work-wise in psychiatry and other work (tribunal, private practice, board member, charity work), plus study, hobbies, and travel etc. We know that there is an abundance of opportunities open to the retired and resting and it would be really useful to get an update from everyone.
There will be plenty of time for interaction and discussion and we hope that this day will be both inspiring and educative, giving benefit of valuable clinical CPD points and the pleasure of social interaction with friends, old and new. As always we have reserved some time to discuss the current situation regarding re-validation for the "orphaned" psychiatrist.
