The CESR route can appear daunting and there are a number of myths that circulate about its difficulties and the requirements for a successful application. The CAMHS curriculum is extensive and elaborate and hence a CESR application in CAMHS can present as even more challenging.
This training is designed specifically for CAMHS-CESR applicants and brings the perspective of the Equivalence committee of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in CAMHS-CESR evaluations. It is also suitable for consultants aiming to support or mentor potential candidates and those considering becoming evaluators who want a taster of what it may involve.
This training will clarify the requirements and provide candidates working in Child and Adolescent psychiatry with thorough advice about how to demonstrate CAMHS competencies through paper evidence.
