Event Information

Our next conference will attempt to understand the non-genetic influences on neurodevelopmental disorders. With highly regarded keynote speakers, the morning will focus on how the environmental influences on neurodevelopmental presentations. The afternoon will be shared by  updating current thinking on ADHD before thinking how we can ensure the future by ensuring quality training for those coming though. Overall the aim to continue to develop our understanding, stimulate debate and ensure we are prepared for the future.

Instructions on the preparation and submission of abstracts:

 

The college is inviting poster submissions for our upcoming Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Special Interest Group Annual Conference. All submissions will be reviewed ahead of the conference and successful authors will be invited to present their work as a poster.
 
1 - Abstracts must be in English. Abbreviations may be used only if they are defined.
 
2 - Ideally your abstract will be no more than 300 words.
 
3 - The abstract must not contain bibliographical references, tables, diagrams or appendices. If accepted for presentation at the conference these can be added at a later date. 
 
4 - Abstracts should be structured in the following order: Aims and hypothesis, Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
 
5 - Submissions are accepted on the understanding that the work has been performed with the permission of any relevant ethical or legislative body. The authors should therefore ensure the work was conducted with appropriate ethical and governance safeguards.
 

6 - All sources of financial sponsorship of the study should be stated at the end of the abstract.

There are 10 free places for students/trainees who wish to present at poster at this conference. Please express your interest in the free place when you send your abstract.
