Event Information

Our speakers will explore the impact on Covid-19 on South Asian people, issues posed by the systemic racism, how South Asian doctors can be supported and valued,  what the College is doing on tackling systemic racism and promoting equality, and future challenges for South Asian doctors.

Speakers include:

  • Professor Kam Bhui, Consultant Psychiatrist, East London Foundation Trust, and Editor in Chief, British Journal of Psychiatry
  • Dr Ananta Dave, Consultant Child Psychiatrist

  • Dr Rajesh Mohan, Chair, Faculty of Rehabilitation and Social Psychiatry
  • Dr Trudi Seneviratne, Registrar, Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Q & A Session and Closing Comments: Dr Santosh Mudholkar, Associate Registrar for Member Engagement
