Event Information

The Faculty of Neuropsychiatry offer a number of prizes and bursaries. These can be viewed here. 

**The submission deadline is 15:00 on Friday 10 July 2020**
Presentation Prizes
Best Oral presentation (1st £500)
Best Trainee/SAS doctor poster (1st £100, 2 runners-up £50 each)
Best Medical Student/Foundation doctor poster (1st £100, 2 runners-up £50 each)
Medical Students, Psychiatry F1-F2, Specialty trainees (CT1-3, ST4-6), and SAS doctors in the UK
I. All applicants must be working in the United Kingdom.
II. Applicants should be Medical Students, Foundation doctors, Specialty trainees (CT
1-3, ST4-6), or SAS doctors.
III. Applicants should submit an abstract to the Faculty meeting. Please follow the instructions online link. 
IV. All posters submitted with a trainee, medical student, foundation doctor or SAS doctor as the lead author will automatically be entered into the Poster Competition.

V. Three assessors nominated by the Faculty Chair will judge the posters and presentations at the meeting.
VI. Presentations will be judged on clarity of presentation, time-keeping, originality of content, relevance to meeting, methodology and clarity of ideas; for the oral presentation quality of aids is an additional category.
VII. In the event that none of the applications is considered to be of a satisfactory standard, no award will be made.

Faculty of Neuropsychiatry Newsletter (THIS IS NOT IN THE PRIZE REGULATIONS)

The three best poster presentations displayed at the conference will be selected for publication in Neuropsychiatry News, the Faculty of Neuropsychiatry Newsletter and will also receive a certificate. The Editor of Neuropsychiatry News and Academic Secretary of the Faculty will finalise any decisions on short-listing and final selection of best posters. Their decision will be final and not subject to any appeals

Fees include catering during scheduled programme breaks but do not include accommodation.

**The Non-Member rate applies to Non RCPsych members of any grade.

The Reduced Rate applies to RCPsych members/associates/affiliates registered with membership on the Retired or Reduced subscription rate of 50% or less. And to the following grades; Core Trainees,  Pre-Membership Psychiatric Trainees/Trainee Registration with the College & are on a CT1-3, ST1-3, LAT or FTSTA Psychiatry rotation and SHOs.

All other fees listed relates to RCpsych members, associates and affiliates only.

†*The Student Associate rate is applicable to RCPsych associates at the following post; Foundation Years or UK Medical Students of Psychiatry. N.B.: If you are a UK medical student or Foundation Year doctor and not registered as a student associate with the college, you can apply for free at the following link which will entitle you to the discounted rate;
