London Division StartWell Event 2021

StartWell is a consultant-led initiative for psychiatrists in their first five years as a consultant or locum consultant. It focuses on the following elements:

1. making connections
2. continuous learning
3. using support effectively
4. personal resilience
5. clinical leadership
6. career development.

This initiative aims to support psychiatrists in their first consultant role with the intention to establish good habits in their career.

We encourage ST6 doctors and consultant psychiatrists in their first five years to attend the event. SAS Doctors may also be interested in the StartWell programme and are most welcome to attend.

Although this is a London Division led event, we welcome members from all Divisions and Devolved Nations to attend.

• The conference will take place online using Zoom.
• Participants will be able view a video of the speaker, alongside any slides.
• Participants can also pose questions, where the programme allows.

The event is taking place online via Zoom. To take part you will need:

• access to a reliable internet connection
• a PC, laptop, tablet or phone.
• Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome or Zoom installed on your device.

Please note that it is up to the participant to ensure that they have the correct requirements in place prior to booking the event.
