Whilst previously conceptualized as a childhood condition, awareness of adult ADHD and its impact on society is increasing, with services provided by the NHS often not reflecting the demand from service users.
Some psychiatrists with little prior experience are being asked to diagnose and manage this condition. Many cases can be relatively straightforward to treat with often dramatic and life-changing results, however there can be other cases which may present atypically or as comorbid with other mental illness.
This conference is aimed at general psychiatrists to increase your confidence in diagnosing and treating this very common and rewarding condition, as well as thinking about ADHD as a potential missed comorbidity in some of your service user groups.
We have an exciting array of engaging and informative national and international speakers already confirmed, as well as a comorbidities workshop where real-life cases will be discussed with our expert panel.
The conference will be worth six CPD points subject to peer approval.
