SEPSIG12: Cricketer Mental Health and Performance Conference

Professional cricket has been an instrumental sport in raising the profile of mental health needs within the elite sport setting. This was evident during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown period and the challenges for touring teams in bio-secure bubbles.

SEPSIG12 will include three symposiums involving leading experts in mental performance optimisation and managing mental illness in cricket, supporting the female athlete and understanding grassroot and diversity initiatives within cricket.

This event will benefit those with an interest in elite athlete mental health. We warmly invite mental health professionals (psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists), sport clinicians, researchers, athletes and those working in cricket.

The event will take place at Burleigh Court Conference Centre and Hotel, Off Ashby Road, Loughborough University, Loughborough, Lecicestershire, LE11 3GR. Take a look at their map and directions to help plan your journey.
