Event Information

  • If you are a medical student in the UK, you will need to register as a student associate in order for this fee to apply.
  • If you are a foundation doctor in the UK, you will need to register as a foundation doctor associate in order for the correct fee to apply.

The Royal College of Psychiatrists will host the Old Age and Liaison Psychiatry Faculties joint winter event on Friday 9 December 2022. You can join us in-person in London, or opt to watch the live-stream, or on demand later to suit you.

Clinical skills, culture and care is the theme, with sessions on:

  • Neuroradiology, basics on scan interpretation, and how to get the most out of local radiology reporting and support
  • Acute behavioural disturbance and rapid tranquillisation in the general hospital – how to support hospitals with safer prescribing, RCPsych position statement on ABD
  • Palliative care and psychiatry
