What will this event cover?
Are you a medical student considering psychiatry as a career, or have already begun Foundation Training?
Join RCPsych Trent Division as they explore some of the most interesting aspects of psychiatry and discuss why it is such an exciting and rewarding profession.
Presentation topics include LGBTQIA+ mental health, social media and mental health, and sports and nutrition.
With a quiz and prize of £50, as well as exploring the vast specialty that is psychiatry and the opportunity to ask psychiatrists all of your questions, there is much to be gained from this event.

- Speaker 1 – Social Media and Mental Health of Young People – Addiction and Eating Disorders – Dr Jane Morris
- Speaker 2 – Sports, Nutrition and Mental Health
- Speaker 3 – LGBT Mental Health – Dr Pavan Joshi - Chair of Rainbow SIG Executive, a volunteer in a support group for Gay Indian Network- Saathi. Provider of private health care for LGBT people.
- Speaker 4 – Climate Change and Mental Health – Dr Dasal Abayaratne
