Event Information
Audience and fee types
This event is primarily targeted toward psychiatrists, but it is also open to other non-psychiatric medical professionals and allied health professionals who have a passion or interest in delivering care for dementia.
*The discounted allied healthcare professional rate is available for the following: allied healthcare professionals like occupational therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists etc.
Other medical professionals, e.g. GPs must select the non-member rate.

- To understand the different types of dementia and the core diagnostic features of each type
- To understand the process of diagnosis and management of dementia
- To understand the risk factors associated with dementia and how risk can be mitigated
- To understand what it means to live well with dementia and how this can be achieved
- To recognise the various steps and personnel required to make a diagnosis of dementia
