We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the first in-person RCPsych in Scotland Child and Adolescent Faculty Conference since 2019.

We are delighted to have both of Scotland's Professors of Child and Adolescent psychiatry, the chair of the RCPsych UK CAP Faculty, and the latest research, explore the theme of 'Child and adolescent psychiatry: looking to the future'. We will also have an inspiring representation from service users, posters at breaks and lunchtime, and lots of time for networking and reuniting with long lost friends. The Faculty AGM is after lunch, and we are in need of new recruits!

We were delighted when the membership voted for an in-person event in Edinburgh, so we would like to encourage as many of you as possible, from medical students, through trainees, consultants, professors and retirees, to join us in person. This event has traditionally been an annual fixture that supported networks, collaborations and morale. At a time when child and adolescent psychiatry is under such immense pressure, this event is even more needed than ever.

Please do join us and help us secure our sense of community, and put Scotland on the map for research and forward thinking.

If you wish to have a poster on display during the event, please submit an abstract for consideration. Further details, together with the form, are available in our call for posters.

After the event there will be an informal gathering for delegates, speakers and friends at the Dragonfly Cocktail Bar, near the Grassmarket. We have a private bar and there will be pizza and nibbles. Could those planning to attend please contact scotland@rcpsych.ac.uk so we can pass along final numbers and any dietary requirements. A donation on the night will be welcome.

This year's conference will be taking place in person at the Apex Grassmarket Hotel in Edinburgh.
