We have previously offered day registration, however this year, the Congress will be delivered on a specialist event platform in a very different way from our other online events. It is not possible for us to limit access to part of the content without limiting your experience of Congress as a whole and therefore we can no longer offer day rates.

All content will be available on demand so you will be able to experience much more the of the Congress compared to a face to face event. Once registered you will have access to 100% of the content for up to two months to watch in your own time.

Yes, if you were unable to book your place prior to the Congress taking place, you can still register for on demand access and pay through the normal booking process.

You will be able to watch all Congress recordings and access all content on demand until 31 December 2021. Once payment has been made you will automatically be sent your joining links 20 minutes after. Please note that these will come from a NO-REPLY email address so please check your spam/junk folders.

No. We welcome everyone with an interest in mental health to attend Congress.

You do not need to be registered for the Congress to submit a poster abstract. However, if your poster is accepted you will need to register in order for your poster to be presented.

The Congress will be run through 6Connex online event platform. This is a web based platform, so you do not need to download an app to join. You will need access to an internet connection and a web browser. We recommend using a desktop computer or a laptop

You can check your connections here: System Check (6connex.eu)

To join the rapid fire poster sessions that we recommend that you download the Zoom App. If you are enable to join live then recordings of these sessions will also be available to watch on-demand in the platform without Zoom

After registering for the Congress you will receive a confirmation email confirming your booking. You will be sent a further email containing your unique joining link.

During the sessions you will be able to ask questions using the in session Q&A function. We will also be holding Q&A sessions with a number of speakers in our Lounge so look out for those in the Congress programme.

If you need to contact the organisers or need assistance with anything you can ask your question through the Helpdesk.

During the sessions you will not be visible on screen or around the platform.

There are, however, various interactive elements throughout the Congress platform and some of the interactive meetings and sessions will be run through Zoom. You will have the option in these sessions to turn your camera off.

The information you have registered with will be included on your Profile and visible to attendees. You can amend this information when you first log in.

Please read our Privacy Notice before logging on for guidance on how other delegates will be able to interact with you through the platform

If you wish to watch any on demand content from the Congress you will need to have registered. On-demand content will be available until 31 December 2021. To access this you will simply need to log back in to the platform.

Please be aware that it will take up to 24 hours for on demand content to be available.

The International Congress 2021 is an entirely online event and offers 120 hours of educational content.

For the College’s CPD purposes, the normal daily limits will apply - i.e., you can claim a maximum of 6 hours per day. However, please note that delegates will have access to all Congress content for 6 months.

If you are watching content on-demand outside of the Congress dates you can also claim this as CPD. This would still be limited to no more than 6 hours a day and subject to peer group approval.

The attendance certificate provided by the College will only mention the Congress dates.

Any CPD claimed whether viewed ‘live’ or ‘on-demand’ must be approved by your peer group and we would recommend the use of a reflective note as a part of this process.

As in previous years, the congress has been awarded EACCME accreditation to the value of 25, which can be converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found on the AMA website.

Yes, certificates of attendance will be automatically emailed to you after the Congress. Please be aware that these may not be sent until the end of July.

If you watch on demand you will still be eligible for a certificate, however there may be a slight delay in sending these out.

We will share all PowerPoint slides during the Congress if speakers have given us permission to do so. Please note the slides are made available with kind permission of the speakers and are intended for use only by the delegates that attend the webinar.

The hashtag for the International Congress is #RCPsychIC.

All sessions will be available the day after they have taken place but, some may be available much sooner.
Unfortunately private chats aren't saved in the platform and you won’t be able to access it once you log off. Please make a note of anything you want to keep.
Yes, you can add sessions from anywhere in the platform to your briefcase to save them. Please note though that there may be a different session from the live one for the on-demand version of the session.
The first time you log on you will need to click the forgotten password button to set yourself a password for the platform. You can use that password to log on going forwards.
Please use the email address registered to your College account – in most cases this will be email that your joining instructions were sent to. If you are still having trouble then please email congress@rcpsych.ac.uk or call us on (+44) 020 8618 4120
These can be found in the Poster Platform. Find your Poster and then click on the multimedia tab to find the video.
Please visit the poster hall, from there you will see a banner labelled ‘BJPsych Open Supplement’ which when clicked on will open up a link to the online supplement.
No, we will only be providing delegates with one certificate after the Congress has taken place. This will only indicate the dates of Congress, the rest will be down to peer review. Remember all those sessions watched on-demand after the Congress has taken place are also CPD approved.
