This course will give you an understanding of the CBT principles through a user friendly CBT assessment model: the Five Areas Approach. This model has proven an effective treatment for patients experiencing depression. You will receive resource handouts so that you can share this training (under licence) within your own team to use with patients. You and your team can use these newly acquired skills on a daily basis. It will promote shared working across a multi disciplinary team by encouraging a consistent approach.
