Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Event

ACOMHS is proud to host a special interest event around Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This will be an informative event dedicated to the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder in mental health services across a variety of services.

The event includes presentations from experts such as:

  • Dr Lynne Drummond (Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Lecturer at St George's University London)
  • Dr Naomi Fineberg (Consultant Psychiatrist, Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust)
  • Dr Ilenia Pampaloni (General Adult Psychiatrist, Priory)
  • Dr Himanshu Tyagi (Consultant Neuropsychiatrist and Vice Chair of the RCPsych network for OCD and related disorders)
  • Dr Gagandeep Singh (Consultant Psychiatrist, Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Trust)

The event is free and open to all CCQI networks and member services.

ACOMHS Annual Forum 2020 - Coproduction

The event will include a range of insightful presentations and workshops covering the area of co-production within community mental health services. Bookings are now open and the booking form can be found here. A full programme for the event will be available soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

We have also opened up workshop and poster proposals for the event. If you are interested in presenting a workshop or poster, please contact the team. We are particularly keen to receive proposals with input from service users and carers.

ACOMHS Peer Reviewer Training - Save the date

Peer reviewer training is open to all staff working in ACOMHS member services. This includes consultants and specialist registrars (SpR), registered mental health nurses and nurses in training, ward managers and matrons, support workers and wider MDT. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development, to contribute to the peer review process and to facilitate networking and the sharing of best practice.
