RCPsych in Scotland Research Prize 2019
We are now accepting submissions for the 2019 RCPsych in Scotland Research Prize. A prize of £500 is available, to be presented at the Autumn Meeting 2019. Winners will then be expected to present their work at a future meeting of the RCPsychiS.
The Chairman, Vice Chairman and one representative working in Academic Psychiatry will make up the panel.
This should be a paper published in a Peer Reviewed journal in 2018/19. Online publications will be accepted, but only where there is a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number assigned for the paper in its final (i.e. publication) format.
Where the paper-version is delayed, the same paper cannot be entered again in a subsequent year. The application should choose which prize year they wish to enter the paper for. Applicants should alert the reviewers to additional online data (directly-related to the paper and published by the journal) which they wish to be considered.
Open to all categories of membership of the RCPsych in Scotland of the RCPsych other than Fellows (Members, Specialist Associates, Affiliates, Pre-Membership Psychiatric Trainees, etc) in good standing, who have been in their present category of membership for less than ten years.
Allowance may be made for members who have worked less than full time for more than ten years, so long as the total time is equivalent to less than ten years.
Email submissions to email@example.com by 31st July 2019 with a covering email or letter saying what part you have played in the research.
