Event Information

Any health practitioner is welcome to attend, although our updates are aimed at psychiatrists specifically.

Our CPD updates are aimed at trained psychiatrists and higher trainees in psychiatry, and best suited to individuals who have MRCPsych or equivalent and above.

This one day course will give you the opportunity to update yourself on the latest research findings, methods of assessment and treatment of people with autistic spectrum disorders from some of the UKs top experts.

You will leave with a thorough understanding of the latest advances in autism spectrum disorders:

  • Diagnostic categories
  • Recognition of the disorder in childhood
  • Recognition of the disorder in adulthood
  • Aetiology
  • Epidemiology
  • Management and treatment
  • Course and outcome
  • Developing services/accessing services to manage ASD
