Course aim: To provide attendees with an overview of veterans/military families’ mental health in order to improve understanding and engagement
- Describe the nature of military service and the make up of the Armed Forces Community
- To improve the understanding of the scope and scale of the mental health difficulties experienced by military personnel and veterans
- To detail the current state of provision of state and charitable provision of mental health care for the Armed Forces Community
- Provide an overview of the challenges of providing care to this community and outline possible future directions
Fees include catering during scheduled programme breaks but do not include accommodation.
RCPsych fellows/members/associates at the following grades Consultants/Locum Consultants, SAS/Associate Specialists and Non RCPsych members of any grade.
(RCPsych members/associates only) Retired or Reduced subscription rate of 50% or less. Higher/Advanced/Core Trainees, Medical Students, Foundation Year Doctors or Student Associates, Pre-membership Psychiatric Trainees/Trainee Registration with the college.
