Acute Services in COVID19- Experiences of General Adult Psychiatrists

The session will focus on General Adult Psychiatry during COVID19, with talks from general adult psychiatrists from the General Adult Faculty Executive giving their personal reflections of running services during this time, along with a liaison psychiatrist involved in the Nightingale Hospital.

The webinar will be chaired by Dr Billy Boland, Chair, Faculty of General Adult Psychiatry.

  • Coping with COVID - an account from acute services,  Dr Indira Vinjamuri, Consultant Psychiatrist, Liverpool and Deputy Medical Director/Director of Medical Education, Mersey Care NHS FT
  • COVID 19 on an acute inpatient psychiatric ward, Dr Mudasir Firdosi, Consultant Psychiatrist at South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George’s, University of London
  • Dr Derek Tracey, Consultant Psychiatrist & Clinical Director, Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, London, Senior Lecturer, King's College London
