Tackling racism in the workplace

The College co-hosted a webinar with the Association of Black Psychiatrists UK on 7 October examining  how racial discrimination could be tackled in the workplace

A fantastic line up of speakers including, Professor Anton Emmanuel, Professor Dawn Edge, Dr Aggrey Burke and Dr Rasheedah Bankole. The round table discussion was chaired by Dr Tim Ojo.

Popular culture, racism and mental health

The awareness of systemic racism and mental illness continues to be on the rise, especially in the black community. There is a unique interaction between these major issues in popular culture with the world events which have triggered responses via social media and by organisations such as Black Lives Matter.
