Middle East message

RCPsych President Dr Adrian James has welcomed the ceasefire in the Middle East and sent a message of support to College members in the region.

With the ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian group Hamas continuing to hold this week, Dr James said:

“I have been saddened by the violence in the Middle East and I welcome the ceasefire and fervently hope it continues.

“Our thoughts are with our College members, and all health professionals, in the Middle East Division during this difficult and challenging time.

“We are also thinking of our members in the UK who have family and friends impacted by the violence.”
