Clinical Impact Awards

There’s still time to submit your application for a Clinical Impact Award to receive College support.

If you’re thinking of applying, we recently held a webinar with some top tips from scorers and previously successful applicants to help you when completing your application.

The deadline for requests for College support is 5pm on Wednesday 11 May.

In line with our College values and our Equality Action Plan, we’d welcome nominations from members of all backgrounds, particularly female and Black, Asian and minority ethnic doctors.

The Clinical Impact Awards – which are overseen by the Advisory Committee on Clinical Impact Awards – reward consultants or academic GPs in England and Wales who deliver national impact above the expectations of their job role or other paid work.

If you apply, you need to give evidence of impact across the following five domains:

  • delivering and developing a high-quality service
  • leadership
  • education, training and people development
  • innovation and research
  • other areas of national impact, with specific reference to NHS priorities, where relevant.
