Members, time is running out to stand for election to join our Council, a Faculty, Division, Devolved Nation, International Division or Special Interest Group (SIG) executive committee, or the Psychiatric Trainees Committee (PTC).

It’s a great opportunity to be involved in the work of the College and to share your knowledge as well as network with your peers. Please see our elections pages for more information on the roles available and the rules and regulations.

You have until midday on 3 February to stand for election to our Faculties, Divisions, Devolved Nations, International Divisions, SIGs and the PTC.

You also have until midday on 18 February to stand for election for one of four elected positions on the RCPsych Council – which leads our work on being the voice of psychiatry throughout the world.

The Council, which meets four times a year and is chaired by RCPsych President Dr Adrian James, leads our work on training and education, policy and campaigns, professional standards, standards and quality, research, and recruitment and retention.

You can see the job description and find the link to submit your nomination on our Council elections page.

If there are more candidates than vacancies for any posts, voting will take place between March and April.
