Ukraine conflict
The College has added two new Ukrainian translations of patient resources to the set of materials available on our Ukraine crisis hub.
These resources have been made available to members who are providing care for people involved in the Ukraine crisis.
The translations were generously completed and reviewed by volunteer mental health professionals. We’re hugely appreciative of their support and dedication to ensuring as many people as possible can access our mental health information resources.
The College is also working on translating the same resources into Russian, to ensure as many people as possible being affected by this conflict can use our resources.

Other resources available on our Ukraine crisis hub include:
- eLearning modules on the mental health and psychosocial response to complex humanitarian emergencies
- A podcast on the mental health needs of refugees
- A webinar on psychological first aid, focused on the effects of COVID in India, but with discussion too about how the principles apply to all humanitarian crises
- The Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) guidelines on mental health and psychosocial support in emergency settings, in English, Ukrainian and Russian
- Resources about children and war
- Signposting of other relevant articles, help and support.
We recently held a Psychological First Aid webinar and that will soon be added to the hub as well.
