Submit your questions for the Presidential elections hustings

The College is now accepting questions for the hybrid RCPsych Presidential election hustings event on 20 October, between 6-8pm, which will be addressed by the three candidates Dr Kate Lovett, Professor Russell Razzaque and Dr Lade Smith CBE.

A selection of questions sent in by members will be put to the candidates vying to be the next College President by the hustings chair, our current President Dr Adrian James.

You can attend the hustings either in-person at Prescot Street or watch the event online. If you have a question you’d like to be put to the three candidates, please submit it for consideration.

If you haven’t already, you can find out more about each candidate by reading their 500-word election statement or watching their three-minute election video on our website, setting out why they would like you to vote for them.

There will also be an online Q&A held during November, via the College website, allowing another opportunity for members to put questions to the candidates.

Voting for the next President will take place between 14 December and 18 January.

The successful candidate will be announced on 19 January and they will take up the role when Adrian demits office next summer.
