In line with our Values an exciting role has become available to oversee our communications and stakeholder engagement work on equality, diversity, and inclusion - to ensure we engage effectively with our staff, members and external audiences in order to promote equality, diversity and inclusion, and equitable outcomes, for College members and staff, multi-disciplinary teams within mental health services and for patients and carers.

You should have experience of working in communications, policy or campaigns and a track record of leading effective communications or stakeholder work at a national charity or within the political system or for government.

An understanding of equalities legislation and its application in the workplace is essential. You will be responsible for leading and promoting equalities objectives and aligning them with other important business objectives.

You will be good at advising and influencing with the credibility that commands respect from the President/Chief Executive and SMT.
