The College is seeking to appoint an Associate Dean for Academic Training who will champion academic training and trainees in psychiatry, ensuring a clear academic career pathway from undergraduate medical school through combined postgraduate clinical, and academic training to consultant level, and senior faculty/leadership positions in clinical academic psychiatry.
This post is voluntary, and the appointee should expect, with agreement of their employer, to spend an average of 1 PA/session per week in this role.
The post holder will work with the team of Associate Deans, Speciality Advisory Committees and the Training and Workforce Unit within Professional Standards and report to the Dean.
