BJPsych Open is looking for an enthusiastic Digital Content Editor (voluntary position) to join its Editorial Board. The Digital Content Editor will work with the Board to develop digital content to complement published articles, thereby enhancing the journal’s author offer and reader experience.
Projects might include the development and promotion of podcasts, video abstracts, themed article collections, blogs etc but all ideas most welcome.
About BJPsych Open
BJPsych Open is an online-only open access journal for the publication of all methodologically sound research in the fields of psychiatry and disciplines related to mental health. It has an Impact Factor of 2.286 and maintains the highest scientific, peer review and ethical standards of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, led by a board of international editors. In addition to original research, the journal also publishes research protocols; a variety of review types with systematic reviews preferred; case reports; as well as policy and analysis of topical practice and research findings. It ensures rapid peer-review and publication for authors while sharing research at no cost to the reader, in the spirit of maximising dissemination and public engagement. An article processing charge is payable on acceptance (there is no APC for Covid-19 related publications).
