The Royal College of Psychiatrists is seeking two participation consultants and one carer representative to join the a sub-committee of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry executive committee, to develop a Position Statement on Personality Disorder in Young People. The successful applicants will have lived experience of Personality Disorder and child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) or caring for someone with Personality Disorder.

Workers will be closely involved with the committee and will take an active involvement in the development of content for the Position Statement as well as liaising with external user and carer groups who the committee may wish to involve in consultation on the document. As well as attending and contributing to meetings, working with other committee members to complete content for the document and seeking wider participation from user and carer groups, participation consultants and carer representatives may also be offered opportunities for involvement with conferences, communications and the media, at such time as the document is published.
