The Royal College of Psychiatrists in Northern Ireland is the leading medical authority on mental health in Northern Ireland. It is the professional and educational organisation for doctors specialising in psychiatry. The College plays a central role in establishing and promoting the highest standards of psychiatric care and training in Ireland.

We have a rewarding and varied role for the Royal College of Psychiatrists in Northern Ireland Manager within the college. 

Reporting to the Head of International, Devolved Nations and Divisions, you should be a team-player with excellent communication skills, who is able to explain complicated issues to a wide range of people with accuracy and authority.

You will have a solid understanding of the health and social care sector as well as the political landscape in Northern Ireland. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You must be adept at juggling priorities and be prepared to undertake high level work and routine everyday support tasks with the same attention to detail. 

We need a thoughtful and confident individual to join our team, who can hit the ground running and who will enjoy the variety promised by this role.

The successful candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure Barring Service check.
