Sustainability Scholarships Programme – 2018-19

Applications are now open for two part-time, one-year scholarships for the next academic year; 2018-19.

All advanced trainees in psychiatry in the UK are invited.

Successful candidates will use their allocated 'special interest' professional development time (one day per week), to join the our National Sustainability Committee and take a lead on one of their ongoing projects.

MRCPsych Critical Review Panel Chair Vacancy

The College wishes to appoint a Chair to the Critical Review Panel, for five years in the first instance.

The post is voluntary and appointees will be expected to attend all Panel meetings and contribute remotely on a regular basis. Expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with College policy.

CESR Evaluators evaluate applications for Certificates of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) sent to the College by the GMC.

The RCPsych welcomes new CESR Evaluators from across specialties. We encourage consultants who hold an educator role.

College Assessors to represent the College on NHS Advisory Appointment Committees (AACs)

The College is looking to recruit and train additional College Assessors to represent the College on NHS Advisory Appointment Committees (AACs). We organise two College Assessor training days every year: Spring, and Autumn/Winter. Training is available to Consultant Doctors and Specialty Doctors.
