Prof MacCabe is Professor of Epidemiology and Therapeutics in the department of Psychosis Studies at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London. He applies the techniques of epidemiology and population research to study the causes, consequences and treatments of psychoses, particularly in treatment resistant schizophrenia and personalized medicine. He leads STRATA, an MRC-funded multi-centre consortium developing stratified medicine for schizophrenia.
