Professor Louise Howard

Professor Howard is Professor of women's mental health at Kings College London and an NIHR Senior Investigator. She has co-led the UKRI funded Violence, Abuse and Mental Health Network and a Lancet Psychiatry Commission (launch at RCPsych Congress this year)  and is part of a new cross-disciplinary UKRI Prevention Consortium on Violence, Abuse and Mental Health. She was a member of the NICE Public Health Guideline development group (PH50) on preventing and reducing domestic violence and abuse published in 2014 and an NIHR Research Professor 2013-8.
