Members are invited to express their support for the setting up of a new Special Interest Group (SIG) focused on digital psychiatry.
The new SIG aims to bring members together to discuss ways in which clinical practice and culture can be transformed by digital technology.
The SIG will primarily focus on four areas: technology in clinical practice, research insights, educational opportunities and community building.
It promises to be of interest to:
- College members across all nations and faculties who have an interest in how technology can be used as a tool to shape psychiatric practice.
- Psychiatry trainees and medical students with an interest in digital mental health.
In order for the Digital Psychiatry SIG to go ahead it needs sufficient support from members.
