There’s just one day left to nominate female psychiatrists as unsung heroes.
As a part of their 25 year anniversary celebrations, the Women in Mental Health Special Interest Group are looking to highlight the stories of 25 inspirational women members, fellows, affiliates or trainee psychiatrists who might be seen as unsung heroes or who are relatively hidden from the usual professional means of recognition and award.
They want to embrace a whole range of personal attributes and career stages and trajectories and are especially keen to hear how any personal or professional challenges have been impressively overcome or managed - eg you may be inspired by how a colleague has been able to return to their career or has continued to work despite difficulties with health or life outside of work.
Do you know anyone whose story they would be happy for you to share? Perhaps you would like to nominate yourself?
Nominations must be sent via email to Catherine Langley by the end of Friday 13 November.
