To support you during this difficult time, the College has launched a series of free live webinars, which offer a solution-focused approach to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The first three webinars covered a variety of topics including the ethical challenges of COVID-19 in mental health, how psychiatrists can support their physical health colleagues and the rise of telepsychiatry. If you missed them, you can watch the recordings online.
The latest webinar took place yesterday and again 795 viewers joined us live.
Dr Clementine Maddock gave an outline on changes to the Mental Health Act, following the new coronavirus legislation and Professor Richard Williams discussed how we can use lessons from the pandemic to improve care for NHS staff once the pandemic resolves. This was followed by a discussion with Professor Simon Wessely and live Q&A session at the end, facilitated by Dr Adrian James.
If you missed it, you can watch the recording online.
You can also sign up for next week’s webinar which will focus on COVID-19 and patients with intellectual disabilities.
