Congress success

The College was celebrating this week after our annual Congress 2019 won Best Conference Development at the Association Awards UK.

Our Centre for Advanced Learning and Conferences (CALC) team attended the awards event in Birmingham on Tuesday and took part in a ‘success stories’ session before hearing they’d won the prize.

The RCPsych International Congress 2019 was the most successful Congress to date with over 3,400 registered delegates from 65 different countries around the world.

It was our 10th International Congress and we celebrated with our most varied, inspiring and relevant programme yet, which included an extraordinary gala dinner on board the iconic Cutty Sark.

Over the four days of the Congress, the programme featured not only world-class academics but also those with lived experience, families and opinion leaders from the social and political sphere, demonstrating the diversity of speakers the Congress has to offer.

If you missed out this year you can catch up with the 2019 Congress and register your interest for the 2020 Congress in Edinburgh.
