180th anniversary: Where were all the women?

The next webinar in our 180th anniversary series looks back and asks ‘Where were all the women?’.

Our brilliant speakers – College Dean Dr Kate Lovett, the RCPsych’s historian in residence Dr Claire Hilton, and former RCPsych Treasurer Dr Fiona Subotsky – will be charting the story of how men fought to keep women out of medicine, but how women eventually overcame the barriers.

The event will be chaired by Dr Beena Rajkumar, who is co-chair of the Women and Mental Health Special Interest Group.

A panel discussion will follow the speeches during the webinar, which takes place 4-5pm on 18 February.
