Help us make history

We’re building an archive for future generations – contribute as part of our Future Archives competition and you could win an iPad.

We can’t change the resources we have about mental health in the past – but we can make sure that people in the future can access a wide range of perspectives about mental health practices, politics, services and research in 2020-21.

We want you – and everyone you know who is involved in providing or receiving mental health care – to help us build an archive, with views from as many different types of people as possible. Entries to the archives could be written, a video, a podcast, or even a poem.

So – why should you enter?

Latin lesson

Core trainee Dr Ibrahim Mohamed believes we need to succeed where the Romans failed. Read his brilliant blog post and you will realise how important it is that you provide an entry for the archives.

There are prizes

In addition to the good feeling you will have from having your entry in the archives – and a certificate which each entrant will receive – three people will receive an iPad.

And we’ll also be inviting three participants to discuss their entries and thoughts about present day psychiatry at the RCPsych’s International Congress in June.
