CPD eLearning

CPD eLearning is our online learning resource for mental health professionals. The eLearning library consists of over 200 modules and more than 160 podcasts varying in length from 30 to 90 minutes, covering a wide range of topics to suit your learning needs. Each resource offers CPD points on successful completion and generates a certificate in the Learning Management System. College members can currently use CPD eLearning to complete all 50 of their annual CPD credits.

We are pleased to offer a selection of freely accessible modules and podcasts for those without a subscription, or if you would like to view some of the content before subscribing.

We are continually expanding our library of modules and podcasts and our recent additions include the podcast ‘Sustainable prescribing’ and module ‘Understanding and managing cardiovascular risks in treating mental illness’. Our latest addition is ‘Depersonalisation-derealisation disorder (DDD): assessment and treatment’, a 60-minute module providing information on common presentations, comorbidity and the main triggers for onset, as well as guidance on how to assess and diagnose DDD.

Discounted subscription prices are available for College members, as well as institutional subscriptions via OpenAthens for Trusts and large institutions. To subscribe, or see further information, please visit our subscriptions page.

Trainees Online (TrOn)

Offering unique alignment with the MRCPsych syllabus, TrOn is a reliable revision aid which has been produced by higher specialist trainees and junior consultants who have recent knowledge of the examinations themselves. Content is screened by the College Examinations Panels to ensure material meets the expectations of relevant Membership Examinations. Each module includes specific ‘Key Reading’ lists.

TrOn is freely available to anyone registered with RCPsych as a trainee, member, affiliate, Student Associate or Foundation Doctor Associate – just log in with your College details. For non-members, TrOn is available for an annual subscription fee of £50.
